New Adoption Fee

As from the 1st January 2014, the adoption fee for any cat or kitten from St Neots Cats Protection will be £60.00. For your adoption fee, each cat will be: Health checked by a vet Neutered* Microchipped De-flead Wormed Vaccinated** Covered by free Insurance for 4 weeks.  * If you adopt a kitten, we will cover the cost to neuter them when they are old enough, if arranged through the branch, and taken to a participating vet. ** If you adopt a cat or kitten from us before it has had its ...

Branch Closed For Christmas

Our branch is now closed for Christmas. We will reopen for rehoming, general enquiries and issuing of neutering vouchers on the 6th January 2014. Our Lost and Found service will still resume over the holidays, and our volunteers will get back to you as soon as they can if they miss your call. Waiting List Closed

We have made the difficult decision to close our waiting list for incoming cats with immediate effect.The branch pens are full and we already have many cats waiting to come in and this will take some time to reduce. We currently estimate that any new cats added to the list would have to wait about 3 months before we could help. Next Homing Day Announed

We are pleased to announce our first homing day in 2013. It will be held on the 6th April 2013 at the Community Centre in St Neots. Doors open at 10.30am and the event finishes at 12.30pm. Several cats and their fosterers will be there and cats can be reserved on a first come, first serve basis (subject to a passed home visit). Refreshments will be available on the day. Change to Adoption Fee

After reviewing the costs for the branch for 2012 is has been decided that there will be a change to the adoption fee with a flat rate of £50 per cat, regardless of whether you take one or more cats. We still feel this is an incredibly good price considering that all our cats are neutered, micro-chipped, de-flead, wormed, health checked by a vet and come with 4 weeks free insurance, especially as it costs the branch on average £150 per cat that stays with us. To view the cats we have looking for...
